Interview with Rian Johnson

1. What is Rian Johnson's background?
He grew up in colorado, he was a terrible kid and a kid who always use to have a camera , he figured out he could get out of book reports by making video instead of a report and he was inspired and decided to go to film school and it has been a life long thing for him.



2. How does Johnson describe the movie?
He describes the movie by saying that it was wonderfull because that was his film making background and it wasnt really profesional or the atmostphere wanst. and he said it was cool because it was shot in his home town.



3. Why was it so difficult to get made?
the hardest thing was writing the scrip and giving the actors and example to the new actors.

Documentary

A documentary made in 2004 posed the question, "Can Mr. Smith Still Go to Washington?" In the documentary an idealistic young man ran for a Senate seat, and he lost because he didn't have enough money, nor did he have a famous name. Have the politicians of America today changed dramatically from the politicians of the 1930s and 1940s? Are any of the lessons in the movie useful for changing our democracy today?

No our politicians from today still have not changed from their ways that they where back then. They still do what they use to do and the y still elect the candidates whit the most famous name or the name whit the most reputation. The politicians have learn there lesson that not only candidates whit a famous name are the good candidates in fact these are the bad and corrupted leaders that we should not have in our government. The lesson of keep fighting to show them you're point or even do no one likes you keep on going and dont listen to the people who dont like you but do what you have to do to make a change. Today politicians do get elected even do they do not have a famous name but it is very rarely that this happens. I think our politicians will change eventually and begin to be uncorrupt because when time goes by they'll realize there bad ways and understand that the government does not need more corruption.

I think what makes a great film or what characteristics make a great film are the characters the acting and the personality of the actor or the style of the movie.

In my opinion these are the characteristics that make a great film.

In my opinion citizen cane was a great film because the actor who played in this movie was just good at acting he did not need sound to show his feelings and he always knew his role in the movie he knew what to do and how to move to show his feeling's towards the people watching the film. He was a very funny actor too.

The recent movie I have seen is His girl friday I would really recommend this movie because its really interesting and it makes you get focused in the film you'll get stuck into it because its just a good movie I would give it a 5/5. This is how much I liked this movie. The characters really showed there acting in a different way because it wasn't silent film anymore and his girl friday had just the right characters for the right people to act in the film. What I really like about the film also was that the story board was all planed out very nice and the story was all planed correctly. They also knew how to capture there audience, I really enjoyed this film.

HIS GIRL FRIDAY

This film his girl friday was really good and amazing. I really liked how the director planed out the movie and he knew how to capture his audience. The director also used some great camera angles and great shots. The movie has great actors and all the characteristics of a perfect movie it showed what it wanted to show and it went straight to the point that the director wanted to make about women. The movie showed how women were able to do men jobs and they showed how they portrayed women as prostitutes or bad women or nice as the virgin mary.
